Stoned again!

Written as “Gayle (guest contributor)” on the original Cystinuria Blog · 1 min read

Well Claire woke me up at 5am to tell me she was having a lot of pain in her lower right back. She ended up taking a percocet (she hasn't taken any in a year)..around 11 this morning I came home from work to check on her and she was passing gravel and complaining the it was very irritating. She did feel better (always does when the sand storm finally arrives). She decided to go to work tonight...she's one tough cookie and I have to say I'm one proud mom. She goes for a urine dip and blood work on Wednesday - curious to see what her level of PH is now that she's been taking her meds. She does complain that whenever she has an increase in Thiola or in this case, is taking it again she goes through a period of heavy gravel and sand. Is this unusual? Just curious and I must also admit, I'm a bit tired. Gayle
