Today is a bad day :_(

Those are real tears by the way. I have a lot to say this morning so bear with me.

I am in pain...still, except I'm noticing it more today. It's the same. I thought I was getting better - hence the tears.

I called my urologist to see if there were any cancellations (my appt is on Wednesday) and the receptionist said no. Sigh. I'm tough. I can wait, but this still sucks beyond belief.

I stopped taking my pain meds, oh, Saturday night. I guess it stays in your system for a while, kind of like motrin, because yesterday I was in a bit of pain, but I felt aiiight. I was able to get up and move around and hang with my girls.

This morning, the pain was back like a truck slamming into me. Still it was BASELINE pain. Sad, huh? I took my kids to school, came home, gathered their overseas screening papers for the school, went back (3 blocks away), stayed there for less than 5 minutes, and by the time I got back in my car and sat down, it felt like a 747 crashed into me. I'll call it 8-9/10 pain. I went to Burger King out of depression and the need to eat comfort food, so I got a croissant sando and an iced tea.

Still, here I am 45 minutes later with the full sandwich sitting next to me on a plate with one bite taken out of it. I'm in too much pain to eat, and I never ever eveeeerrr take pain meds on days when I have to take my girls to and from school. My husband took them to and from school for a couple weeks, but he is a Marine in charge of an air traffic control unit...I can't keep him away from his job any longer. You would only understand this logic if you were a Marine, I'm afraid. Ya, he can't get fired, but he can get in tons of trouble and get bad reports that could keep him from getting promoted, even at his high rank. He's an excellent Marine and he needs to stay focused on the job and his Marines. My words, not his lol.

So blah, blah, blah I'm in freakin' pain. You've got the picture. I have another entry to write about dilaudid, and I don't want to make this one looong post.

Thanks for listening.
